Architecture Week held at AIUB
The four-day long AIUB Architecture Week 2024 was organized by the Department of Architecture of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) at the AIUB campus.
Ishtiaq Abedin, founding member and chairman of the Board of Trustees of AIUB, was present as the chief guest at the closing and prize distribution ceremony. The event was also attended by AIUB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, IAB President Architect Dr. Khandaker Sabbir Ahmed, Registrar, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Arefin Ibrahim, Head of Architecture Department, Teacher-Teacher of Architecture Department, Senior Officer, Sabbir Ahmed of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited and students of various universities.
The guests thanked the Department of Architecture of AIUB for organizing AIUB Architecture Week 2024 to develop the talent and creativity of the students.
On the occasion of Architecture Week 2024, architecture department organized architectural design competition, architectural exhibition, lectures and workshops on various topics with the participation of more than 300 students of architecture department of various public and private universities of the country. At the end of the ceremony, crests and certificates were awarded to the winners of various competitions.
